Beakbook is a poultry-tech startup that delivers autonomous health tracking and analytics to increase the feed conversion ratio, reduce waste, and predict the future weight of poultry. The company collects and leverages big data from current and historical weights, aimed at giving farmers insights and tools to adjust feed mix and barn conditions, enabling farmers to access data analytics tools and robust hardware designed to lower feed costs and support animal welfare.

The client already had an existing customer web application, which we used as a reference point. However, it was a significant challenge to analyze the existing web application, recreate the user flow according to the client’s requirements, and include new features in the design without affecting the existing user flows.

After exploring thousands of ideas and conducting research, we designed a user-friendly, user-centered web application that includes new features, such as a prediction tools store (app store) where users can select which prediction tools they would like to purchase (including weight predictions, stocking density predictions, illness detection, feed usage, etc).
